Tamborrada is a traditional festival that takes place in the Spanish city of San Sebastian, in the Basque Country, and is celebrated annually on January 20. This festival has its roots in local culture and is a unique event that attracts both locals and tourists.

Tamborrada dates back to the 19th century, when locals began using barrels and pots to create rhythms and noises to celebrate the day of Saint Sebastian, the patron saint of the city. Since then, the tradition has grown and transformed into a large-scale event that remains popular to this day.
